How did you meet each other?
We met at a mutual friend's birthday party in January 2021.. I was a travel nurse and had just gotten to Denver a few weeks before and was fully vaccinated (vaccine was brand new at that time!), Kent had just gotten over covid- so we both had our strong reasons for getting out and attending a small social event. Anyways, we met at this birthday party and immediately hit it off and the rest is history!
What was the best memory of your wedding day?
Kelsey -so many!- The ceremony, hearing our vows to each other. the dance floor and photo booth! And probably my absolute favorite intimate moment was our last private dance.
Kent- Kelsey's vows
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?
Don't stress too much about the small stuff! People are coming to celebrate and support you, they're not going to care or even notice if little things are off/ out of place :) Also just do your best to stay in the moment and look around- its overwhelming seeing all the people you love and care about in one room
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Where did you stay and what were a couple activities you enjoyed. Would you recommend to other couples? If you used a travel agent and liked them please note that.- we went to Tahiti and the nextdoor island, Moorea! We had a bungalow over the water and it was 10/10 amazing. We paraglided, did an ATV tour up into the mountains with beautiful views and learned about the history of the islands, walked around the shops/markets in Tahiti, did a snorkeling tour and swam with the sharks and manta rays, saw a bunch of cool tropical fish, played golf, and had a spa day. We definitely recommend it! And pretty easy to get to from Denver (we flew United to SFO then just 8 hours from there to Tahiti, and a 30 min ferry ride to Moorea). So relaxing and special for us!
