- Venue Coordinator: We used Mandy for our day of coordinator (she is truly amazing as is everyone at La Joya Dulce)
Catering: Dean with Q Live BBQ food truck was so delicious
- Beverage: R Bar 2 U
- DJ: Kurt Thomas through Code3 Entertainment
- PhotoBooth: Drake and CO
- Flowers: DIY
- Cake: Steamboat bakery for cake and cupcakes (great option for gluten free and other food allergy needs)
- Dress - West Bridal was amazing for my wedding gown - went through Azazie for bridesmaid dresses
- Augdon's suit was through Indochino and the groomsmen through The Black Tux (the custom Topo ties from Kind Design)
- Etsy was amazing for all "extra" things (cake topper, some jewelry, the guest sign book, and bridal party gifts)
How did you meet each other?
We met in 2012 while Augdon was volunteering with the fire department and Dani was volunteering with the accompanied ambulance service.
What was the best memory of your wedding day?
We would both agree that our favorite memory of the entire day was right after the ceremony. We had a moment to ourselves to take in everything thus far - look around and take a breath. It was nice to just be us for a second before the reception started.
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?
- Not to worry about every little detail - everything will fall into place and some things just won't go exactly how you imagined it, but it's okay to just go with the flow.
- Take in every single moment and really try to be present (it goes so quick)
- Try to get around to all of your guests to say hello (there is always someone you won't get a chance to say hello to)
- Be with each other the entire night and don't forget to just be yourselves
Where did you go on your honeymoon? Where did you stay and what were a couple activities you enjoyed. Would you recommend to other couples?
- We went halfway across the world to the Maldives (like Tahiti or Bora Bora with the water huts)
- It is a lot of traveling, but worth the adventure (also expensive)
- We did scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, and a lot of relaxing and enjoying one another
- Definitely a once in a lifetime trip and 100% amazing for a honeymoon
