How did you two meet?
I am from Denver and went to the University of Louisiana at Monroe on a soccer scholarship. He was from Alabama and went to ULM as well on a football scholarship. I knew a few of his friends and initially met him when we carpooled with some mutual friends down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras my freshman year. We then went to spring break with the same group that year as well, and started hanging out more and more which eventually ended up in us dating the rest of my college career. With him being 4 years older than me we had a long distance relationship for a while when he worked about 2 hours away in Shreveport Louisiana. He proposed on New Years Eve of my Senior year and once I graduated we moved to Houston which is where we are now.

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Karlea's sisters speech of course, it could never be topped by anyone, also celebrating the happiest day of our lives with our friends and family.

Do you have any advice for future couples?
Take it all in. Everyone says that but I would do anything to go back and relive this day because it flew by so quickly. It was the most perfect day and we will remember the memories and stories forever,

Where did you go on your honeymoon and what activities did you do?
We went to Cancun and stayed at the Royalton Riviera. It was a very nice resort. We spent most of the time relaxing on the beach and at the pools, but we also went to a couple shows and on a Hobie cat ride out in the ocean.
