How did you two meet each other? We met through the best man, Doug. Doug is Mike’s best friend from home and lived with him for many years. Kayla went to college with Doug. One night Doug and Kayla were out at a school dinner and Mike tagged along…the rest is now history. What was your favorite memory from your wedding day? It is so hard to pick one memory. It was just a perfect day, so nice to have everyone that you love and care about in one place to celebrate. What advice would you give to future couples getting married? Our advice is to just enjoy the process, the day will go way to fast and you won’t want it to end so take in every moment! I would say I do wish we got more time at our location so book extra hours if you can swing it. Where did you go on your honeymoon? What activities did you do while there? We went to the Cook Islands for our honeymoon and it was amazing to just relax after all of the fun and planning. We booked our trip through Costco travel and had a great experience with no problems. We really enjoyed stand up paddle boarding, hiking, lagoon cruises and buggy rides. The islands are surround by lagoons so it was nice to just be able to grab the snorkels whenever we wanted to see all the fish!
