How did you meet each other?
Christine - Mic and I met in July of 2014, when we were working for the same company, and we casually began dating. I definitely wasn't looking for anything serious at the time, but he always said he 'had a good feeling', and continued to pursue me; even after I told him I thought it was just a fling.
Mic - A few weeks into seeing each other, she accidentally referred to herself as my girlfriend, and I wouldn't let her take it back.
Christine - No matter how much I claimed to have temporary insanity due to hunger. My friends will all tell you that I was dragged kicking and screaming into happiness.
Mic - About 4 weeks after reaching exclusive dating status, we decided to move in together. 4 months after that we adopted a dog together, and well.....the rest is pretty much history.
What was the best memory of your wedding day?
Christine - Probably walking down the aisle and seeing him waiting for me at the altar, and my father's speech.
Mic - My long awaited, first look at my perfect, amazingly beautiful bride as she walked down the isle!
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?
Christine - Get a videographer! I so wish we had! Tracking down people's cellphone videos of special moments is a pain. Also, come the big day, let it all go. Not everything is going to go 100% according to plan, and you can't let it take away how special the day is. Grab a drink, kiss your spouse, and just let it go.
Mic - I agree, a videographer would have been great. Listen to and help each other through the process. It's a stressful process that you need your partner, your life long partner, by your side.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Christine - We're taking a later-moon. We had both just started new jobs around the time we got married, so we planned a trip to Colombia in late August. We are so excited! We'll be staying in the coffee farming region, and we'll definitely go on a tour/tasting or 2 and there's a honeybee farm next to where we're staying that we can tour as well.
Mic - We are very excited to have our honeymoon trip booked and ready to be alone with each other in the middle of a bamboo forest! We will be staying in an outdoor bamboo "cottage" in the middle of nature. http://abnb.me/EVmg/O1rZO1eiaE
