Kotti + Aaron hold a very special place in our hearts. These two amazing people have become not only some of our absolute favorite wedding clients but they've also become wonderful friends. Their love for one another and for God radiates and was inevitable throughout their wedding day.
One month prior to their wedding day, they found out that their wedding venue was closing down. Fortunately they have some incredible family friends who offered their backyard as an option. Kotti + Aaron figured out all the logistics and turned it into one of the most amazing weddings we've ever been a part of. Congrats to you, Kotti + Aaron. We know God has undeniable plans for you and we're excited to be included in your adventure!

How did you meet each other?
We actually met in a line, he started making small talk and jokes...by the end of the night we had plans made for our first date. The next day we went to the taste of Colorado for our first date and I called my sister afterwards and told her I met my future husband. When you know, you know!
What was the best memory of your wedding day?
We both agree that our favorite part was our ceremony. It was incredibly special, intimate and God centered which is exactly what we wanted. We wrote our own vows and seriously we could do that part over and over again. #swoon
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?
This is a fantastic question! I could probably write a whole blog answering just this alone. For Aaron and I we really wanted to glorify God through the whole process. Thirty-three days before our wedding without warning our venue closed down. Yup, that can happen...but instead of remaining in a fetal position crying I chose to surrender, trust and give it to God. I believed and knew he would right this wrong and He did! Our venue ended up being even more wonderful than the first. Another big piece of advice is "you do you boo" lol jk but seriously it's so important that you and your future hubby are both having the wedding of YOUR dreams. Pick your top 3-5 priorities, really consider what's important to you both. Doing that really helps with staying focused on the bigger picture but also helps with the budget allocation. Speaking of budget, invest in a wedding planning book that will help you keep track of spending. You might have to get creative every now and then to make it work but you can do it! At the end of the day you realize the stuff that stressed you out doesn't actually matter, especially after you're officially Mr.&Mrs.!
Where did you go on your honeymoon and would you recommend it to other couples?
We were so busy with wedding planning and work that we decided to go to Europe for a long trip in the Spring of 2017... buuutttt I married up so Aaron surprised me with a quick trip to San Diego!
We love San Diego and have visited a few times. He rented an AirBnB condo on Mission Beach. We spent time on the beach, and exploring Old Towne San Diego. We took a chartered fishing trip one day off the shore which was awesome and action packed. One of the days for lunch the created our own taco tasting tour! It was delicious and fun!
