How did you two meet each other?
I had just moved to Colorado Springs to go to college and got a job at the same pizza place as Anthony. A coworker mentioned to Anthony to get a look at the new hire up front and he was hooked from the moment he saw me. We were friends for about a year until we both decided that our relationship needed to move beyond friendship. We had our first date at Lime in downtown Denver, and the rest is history.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Anthony's favorite part was the drunken dancing. Some of our friends and family know how to party!
My favorite part was the first look. To have that moment, just the two of us before the ceremony, was beyond special. It will be a moment I never forget.
Do you have any advice for future couples?
Don't be cray. The details are important, but don't forget that the day is about the two of you. And don't forget to have fun! Planning can get very stressful and overwhelming, so be there for each other and have some fun with it.
Where did you go on your honeymoon? What activities did you do while there?
We went to Kauai and stayed at the Westin Princeville (thanks to our awesome family!) We loved sightseeing and just stopping wherever we wanted along the road. Our favorite part was hanging out in Hanalei and eating at Bubba's Burgers pretty much every day. Of course we went to a lu'au and stuffed our faces with kalua pork. Oh, and Wailua shave ice. Can't live without shave ice! Pretty much anything that had food or Mai Tai's, we were there.
