How we meet each other - Good old fashioned Hinge success story during the middle of Covid. With holidays and two week quarantines that we respected for our family's sake, we only managed to see each other a few times for the first few months, but each time, we were a little beacon of hope for each other in a time where the world was locked down. We bonded over Thai food and our love of travel.
What was the best memory of your wedding day? Ray - Dancing with all the important people in my life, from grandpa to friends to Nicole to a special rendition of Closer. Stepping outside during set break with ray and looking up at the canyon after dancing so hard with all our friends and family and my all time favorite band !
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day? For us, remember that in the midst of all the chaos, the day is really about you and your significant other. So many of the seemingly major decisions don't matter on the actual day - things like plates, or wine selection, or even the set-break playlist. Enjoy the day it goes by so fast !
5) Where did you go on your honeymoon? Where did you stay and what were a couple activities you enjoyed. Would you recommend to other couples? If you used a travel agent and liked them please note that.
We're planning our proper honeymoon to be in 2025 to Italy/Switzerland for the food and the hikes in the Alps. For our "mini-moon", we went down to Telluride to do a mountain roadtrip with hot springs and the Telluride Via Ferrata which was definitely a mental challenge being hundreds of feet in the air along the cliffwalls of Telluride. We visited several relaxing hot springs including
Wiesbaden Hot Springs with the awesome indoor cave springs, and Orvis hot springs where we went for our first roadtrip years back.
