What was the best memory of your wedding day?
It's hard to pick just one as our wedding is a story for the ages – we are lucky to have pulled it off as the following week the CDC initiated Covid-19 regulations. After so much planning, things started to fall apart in the 72 hours leading up to the wedding, yet after the chaos settled it was the most perfect day. Those that wanted to be there showed up and showed up in the biggest way. We felt so much love and support from friends and family and we were so grateful for all that traveled near and far. We were so glad they were there to laugh with us (when things didn't go according to plan), cry with us, toast with us and dance all night long with us.
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?
In the planning stages don't sweat the small stuff. Guests won't notice the little details as they are just there to eat, drink, dance and socialize. Also, hire a partial coordination wedding planner. A really good one who knows all your vendor contracts and timelines so you don't need to do ANY thinking the weekend of your wedding.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Our honeymoon is currently tbd due to Covid-19. We had planned to be visiting three islands in French Polynesia in May but have since postponed the honeymoon. Hopefully we'll get there someday.
