How did you meet each other?
We were introduced by our mutual friend (and bridesmaid) Jackie Nelson when she took us to the Grizzly Rose.
What was the best memory of your wedding day?
We enjoyed every minute of the entire day, so it is really hard for us to pick our best memory! For Gabrielle, the best memory was seeing Chase at the end of the aisle and through the whole ceremony. For Chase, it was sneaking away to take the sunset pictures out at the 17th hole. We also love the memory of looking out and seeing all of our close friends and family there to celebrate with us - that was very special and that moment really sticks with us.
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?
To try and take a moment to just soak it all in and enjoy. People won't remember the details you stress over, so just have fun and enjoy it all as it goes so fast.
Where did you go on your honeymoon? Where did you stay and what were a couple activities you enjoyed. Would you recommend to other couples? If you used a travel agent and liked them please note that.
For our honeymoon we went to Myrtle Beach. We stayed at Ocean Creek Resort. We really enjoyed sitting at the beach and relaxing after all the busy-ness leading up to the wedding. One of our favorite places was Barefoot Landing which was nearby our hotel and had lots of great restaurants, shops, wineries and more all on the inlet. We took a day to drive to Charleston and took a tour of the city there. We loved the drive and getting to see all the beautiful architecture and history. If you are interested in going to Myrtle Beach, we recommend staying in the area near Barefoot Landing and doing the day trip to Charleston.
