We welcomed our second little one, Colette Genevieve Busch into the world on May 1st, 2015. She weighed 6lbs 13 oz and has been growing in leaps and bounds. She was born with a full head of dark brown hair (which explains the bouts of heartburn Ashley experienced throughout pregnancy). She is the perfect addition to our little family! Grayson is in love with his little sister and gets so excited every time he sees her. He yells "Coley, Coley, Coley..." which has now become her nickname. He gives her lots of kisses and squeezes her...a little too tight at times:) We love all of her cuddles and especially love that she is such an amazing sleeper, which helps with keeping our sanity in a house with a newborn and a toddler! Below are some photos from her Sip and See at the end of May. Thank you to all of our amazing friends and family who came to visit and meet baby Coley!
Obviously, I wrote this (Connie). Juan's version may be a little different, but we both agree that it was fate, luck, timing, God and a lot of good people that brought us together. Had ONE THING been different we would not be here now. We thank God every single day that we found each other.
What was the best memory of your wedding day?
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day? Enjoy every second because it goes by soooo fast... Don't let all of the little details get in the way of your day and HAVE FUN!!! Oh yea, and be sure to eat a little bit of everything that you paid for!
In September of 2014 Jordy Construction broke ground on an 8 month renovation project of The Historic Barn at Raccoon Creek located in Littleton, Colorado. This turn-of-the-century barn located on the grounds of the Raccoon Creek Golf Course is now one of Colorado's premiere wedding venues complete with a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, elegant bridal cottage, and rustic reception space to accommodate up to 200 guests. Wednesday June 3rd, was the official 'Barn Raising Celebration' and ribbon cutting where a team of Colorado's top wedding vendors led by A Touch of Bliss collaborated to showcase all this new venue has to offer. This included multiple florists with gorgeous floral arrangements designed to accompany any couple's wedding vision, from whimsical and romantic to modern and elegant. How did you two meet? We met in graduate school at Denver Seminary as we were both studying Counseling. We enjoyed a close friendship for some time which then developed into a romantic relationship. Our officiant, Reggie Moore, was actually the professor of the class we met in.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day? Bobby's: Watching Bethany walk down the aisle. Bethany's: Walking do the aisle to Bobby with my father, Roger.
Where did you go on your honeymoon and what activities did you enjoy while there? We went to Grand Sunset Princess Resort in Riviera Maya in Mexico. We truly enjoyed the All-Inclusive aspect as it required less planning especially after so much of that around the wedding day. We got massages, went snorkeling, swam in a cenote ( underground river system), and toured the ancient ruins of Tulum.
