Katie + Randy's Albuquerque Balloon Festival Engagement {Nob Hill Albuquerque, NM Engagement Shoot}
This two day Albuquerque New Mexico engagement shoot started with an evening touring around Nob Hill and Central Avenue where Katie and Randy met at the Monte Vista Fire Station. After a fun filled evening touring the old Route 66 we set out the next morning for the world famous the Dawn Patrol Balloons fired up and one by one lifted off followed by hundreds of other colorful balloons of all shapes and designs. We were even lucky enough to step inside the Its a Zoo Balloon and capture a quick photo as they filled it up and prepared for flight. Needless to say it was an amazing trip down to the ABQ and we cant wait to return.

Rebecca and Cody's Red Rocks Amphitheater Engagement Shoot {Denver Photographer, Red Rocks Amphitheater Engagement Shoot}
A couple weeks back Rebecca, Cody and their lovely doggie Susie Q met us up at the Red Rocks Amphitheater outside of Denver for their engagement shoot. Red Rocks is a very special place to Rebecca and Cody. It was here that they had their very first date back when they were seniors in high school. It happened to be their senior prom down on the deck of the Ship Rock Grille. It also was the place Cody "Finally!" got down on one knee and asked for Rebecca's hand in marriage. I absolutely love it when we get to shoot at a venue that means so much to a couple. We even reenacted their first dance from prom night. We had a great evening touring the grounds of Red Rocks Park and look forward to their wedding day in 2014. Congratulations Rebecca and Cody!
Lisa and Colby's Fall Colorado Engagement Shoot {Fall Guanella Pass Engagement Shoot}
There is nothing better than fall colors in the Rocky Mountains here. Lisa and Colby wanted to capture the last bit of changing Aspens for the engagement shoot. We traveled up to Guanella Pass just outside of Georgetown, CO with their two "puppies" Jax and Lily for an afternoon of fun. As the sun went down on the top of the mountain, it left us with such a beautiful sunset and fantastic colors to work with. We are looking forward to the opportunity of traveling to Kansas and meeting all of their family and friends on their wedding day. Congratulations you two.

Scottie + Kelly's Downtown Denver Engagement Shoot {Denver Art Museum Engagement Shoot, Denver Engagement Photographer, Denver Wedding Photographer}
We have photographed engagements shoots just about everywhere in downtown Denver but for some strange coincidence I had never shot one outside of the Denver Art Museum. Strange I know! When I met with Scottie and Kelly and we talked about their engagement shoot plans, we decided that it only made sense to start out there as Scottie is a fellow artist and photographer from The Art Institute of Colorado. He does great product, food and lifestyle work and is a budding star here in Denver. Check out his work on his website www.scottiedavison.com. He and Kelly met years ago in Aspen, Colorado and have an affinity for the outdoors. Its only fitting then that their fall wedding take place in a rustic setting like the Chatfield Botanic Gardens outside of Denver. Spending the evening shooting with the two of them is was clear to me that they were meant for each other and keep each other laughing and giggling the entire 2 hour shoot. Congratulations you two. We look forward to September 22nd!
Lisa + Chris's Engagement Session {Colorado Wedding Photographer, Red Rocks Engagement Session}
Lisa and Chris are both natives of Colorado living in Oklahoma City at the moment. When they came out to book their wedding venue we had a chance to take them out for a classic Colorado engagement shoot outside Red Rocks Amphitheater and up to Lookout Mountain. We could not be happier for these two and are excited to see them tie the knot on September 20th up in Arvada, CO.
