How did you two meet? We met in a government class our senior year of high school where we sat right behind each other and then continued on to CSU together. What were you favorite memories from you wedding day? We both thought one of the best memories of our wedding day was as we walked down the aisle and were able to celebrate with everyone in attendance. It was when a lot of the stress and nervousness of the formal ceremony was over and we were both able to take a deep breath and enjoy our first few moments together as a married couple. What advice would you give to future wedding couples? Some advice I would give to a couple planning their wedding is to focus on one task at a time. The planning gets too overwhelming if you are constantly focusing on every aspect. It helped to prioritize what needed to happen and in which order and then focus on that one item at a time. Also, it helped to focus on only two to three vendors for each part of the wedding. It became too much to try to meet or look into several florists or Dj’s etc. Where did you go on your honeymoon? We went to the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! We booked through Costco travel and stayed at Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana. It was an adult only all-inclusive resort and was a very nice place. We mostly hung out and relaxed at our resort for the week after the stress of the wedding and having basically not seen each other for three months. The one activity we loved was snorkeling with sting rays and nurse sharks. It was a lot of fun and we would definitely recommend the resort to a couple for their honeymoon!

How did you two meet? We met at the Front Porch, a bar on 15th and Lawrence downtown. It was a Tuesday night. I had just been to a show at Comedy Works with some friends, and Kevin was meeting his friend Gary for a drink. I am a pretty outgoing person, so I saw a good-looking guy and decided to talk to him. Kevin had often told his friends that the girl he would marry would be one who would buy him a drink, which I did that night.
What is the best memory from your wedding day? That whole day was awesome! I loved our entrance into the reception, down those cool stairs at the Cable Center. We really liked the cake cutting, since we decided not to announce it; it was just a moment with the two of us and not a bunch of people watching. Our dance floor was hopping right away and never really died down throughout the night.
Do you have any advice for future couples? Make your weeding your own. If something is important to you but isn't traditional, do it anyway. If something is traditional but you don't find it meaningful, skip it. You're never going to 100% please all of your guests, so make yourself happy and you won't have any regrets. Also, if you have many guests coming in from out of town, add an extra event. Your wedding day is action-packed, and it can be difficult to spend time with all of your guests. Something extra the day before or the day after mean more time with the people who want to celebrate you. We had a field day on Friday afternoon in Ruby Hill Park where we played semi-competitive games and brought in Biker Jim's food truck. It was great opportunity for us to spend more time with friends and family, plus our guests had a chance to mingle, which I think helped open up the dance floor at the reception. Also, after the rehearsal dinner, we told all of our guests that we would be at a local bar. It was really relaxed and relaxing. We even got the bar to extend their happy hour deals to our guests. The field day was pretty low-cost and the rehearsal afterparty was free, and they both provided great chances for us to see our loved ones and for friends and family to come together.
Where did you go on your honeymoon? What activities did you do while there? we spent 9 days in Dubrovnik, Croatia and 3 days in Paris. We stayed in apartments that we found on AirBnB. We loved Croatia! Everyone was so friendly; they were excited to have us there and wanted to tell us all about their city and their country. There were lovely beaches, lots of delicious seafood, and sunshine every day. While in Croatia, we took a day trip to Montenegro, which is about a 45 minute drive south, and a day trip to 3 of the Elaphite Islands. Our favorite restaurant was the Taj Mahal, which serves traditional Bosnian food. In Paris, we saw a lot of the tourist spots: Notre Dame, Sacre Couer, Saint Chapelle, the Eiffel Tower at sunset, the Arc de Triomphe, a night biking tour with a company called Fat Tire Tours (not connected with the beer, unfortunately), and a walking street art tour with Underground Paris. Croatia was amazing in pretty much every way and we highly recommend it. Paris is a charming, beautiful city, but definitely less friendly than Dubrovnik.

What advice would you give to future couples getting married? Kate: My would be to go with vendors who feel right for you. With all of our vendors, we felt a connection and a true appreciation for their work and dedication. We knew we could trust them to help us pull of the biggest party we would ever throw in our lifetime. Ajay: Enjoy every moment of the day. Take a step back to really appreciate how it all came together. Don't sweat the details, because the important stuff will always fall into place, especially when you have people and vendors you trust Where did you go on your honeymoon? What activities did you do while there? We went on a minimoon outside of Vail and stayed at the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera. We went hiking in Vail, took naps, and ate delicious food! We will be planning a honeymoon to Europe this summer. We would recommend getting away after the wedding even if it is just for a few nights. That time together as newlyweds to decompress with each other was much needed for us!

How did you meet each other?
We met in high school and dated from junior year through college. We went separate ways for a couple of years after college but were inevitably back together after running into one another on St Patrick’s Day of 2012. We knew for sure that we were meant to be and have been together nearly everyday since. We quickly bought a house, got engaged and started making plans for our future together.
What was the best memory from your wedding day? We have 2 favorite memories. The first is walking down the isle. This was the first time we saw each other because we didn't do a first look. So many emotions go through you in that moment. Everyone around you is blurred, you don't notice any noise. It's just the two of you connecting at a level you've never felt before. Our other favorite memory is all the stories that were told over dinner by our bridesmaids and groomsmen during toasts. We were laughing, crying and feeling SO loved. We were overwhelmed with support, and could feel an amazing bond of love and friendships from all of our favorite people. What would be some advice you would give to future couples? Cody: Listen to your bride to be and start planning early, it can take some of the stress out of the process. Also, hire a day of coordinator. Bre: Be organized! I was probably overboard with my charts, printouts, and mock tables, but it really ensures that your day goes exactly how you want it. I concur..... hire a day of coordinator. It takes the stress away and lets you enjoy what the day is all about! Where did you go on your honeymoon? Would you recommend it to others? We honeymooned in the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana. We stayed at the Bavoro Princess and it was absolutely wonderful. The weather was amazing, the beaches were the most beautiful we had ever seen and the people were extremely nice and accommodating. Relaxing together on the beach everyday was perfect and never got old. We did do several activities. Our favorites were the Catamaran and Coco Bongo. We went on a Catamaran boat tour that took us fishing, snorkeling, and to a private island. They cooked us fresh fish and lobster, taught us all about the Dominican culture, and brought us to a sand bar party. We also saw a show at Coco Bongo. The performers were amazing and we had a blast.

How did you meet each other?
David and I met each other in college, freshmen year, at the University of Northern Colorado. We lived on the same dorm floor. It was truly love at first site! We got to know eachother on our first date at both of our favorite restaurant, Casa Bonita. David had just had his wisdom teeth pulled but I still found him devilishly handsome! Though we had not been together for long, we knew we had found true love within the first year of us dating! Five years later we are still madly in love and now blessed enough to call each other husband and wife.
What was the best memory of your wedding day?
The most beautiful memory we have of our wedding was the exchanging of our vows. We did this in private before the wedding. Our vows were written down in a letter to one another. David was blindfolded and we were brought together back to back to read our letters together. It was so special to feel each others presence while we reading and prepared to meet each other at the end of the aisle.
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?
Advice we would give any couple would be to allow and spend time really soaking everything in. It is such a beautiful time. Every single thing you do and plan is so special. We really took our time planning but spread it out over a year so that it was never too overwhelming. We had such a fun year getting everything ready together. We would also say to really make sure the day is about you. It is easy to stress or worry about your guests and everyone attending but that is not what matters. YOU are what matters that day!
Where did you go on your honeymoon? Where did you stay and what were a couple activities you enjoyed. Would you recommend to other couples?
We stayed at a timeshare in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Although relaxing at our resort would have been more than enough, we got to do a couple activities. We did a zip line through the Dominican jungle which was so incredible! Along with that we got to experience monkeys jumping on us while we carried little bowls of fruit for them. It was an experience we will never forget! We would absolutely recommend the Dominican to couples. The weather is perfect and the people from there are so incredibly kind and caring.

How did you two meet?
Kevin and Meagan first met in 2002 at Dunstan Middle School in Lakewood, Colorado. They had many mutual friends throughout high school and some of the same classes, such as Biology. When they learned they would both be Colorado Buffaloes they started talking much more. Kevin and Meagan attended "Freshman Welcome Week" together, including going to movies on Farrand Field and book shopping. Luckily, Meagan didn't have a car at CU so Kevin kindly gave her many rides back to Lakewood on the weekends. Within the first month of school they knew they were definitely more than friends. On October 16, 2008, after an incredible Italian date at Cafe Antica Roma on Pearl Street, Kevin and Meagan became "official" and have been together ever since!
Work opportunities (and knowing they couldn't be apart) brought the couple to New York City, the summer following graduation. Kevin was offered a position at Oberon Asset Management, where he interned during college, and Meagan completed her Master's degree while teaching in Brooklyn. A NYC adventure, while being far away from home, brought Meagan and Kevin even closer together.
On the evening of Sunday, March 2, 2014 Meagan came home from seeing her friend Sam and opened the door to find rose petals, candles spelling out "Marry Me?" and Kevin down on one knee (with the perfect ring), along with dinner from their favorite Italian restaurant/vino on the table! Of course she said, "yes!" Naturally, they immediately celebrated by heading out to their favorite ice cream spot.
The future Mr. and Mrs. Tracey cannot wait to move back home to Colorado and say "I do!" in the presence of loving family and friends on July 24, 2015!"
*We moved back to CO June 1 to Denver, CO where we now both work from home. :)
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day? The best memory of our wedding day for Kevin was saying "I do" and for Meagan it was Kevin's face as I was walking down the aisle to him. This was such a special moment.
Do you have any advice for future couples? For future couples planning their wedding day I would recommend making sure to soak in every moment of the day because it goes so, so quickly! Also, if everything doesn't go as planned don't worry, just enjoy the blessing of what the day is all about!
Where did you go on your honeymoon? For our honeymoon we went to San Francisco, California for the first few days and then Maui, Hawaii for about a week. We stayed at the Westin in both locations and loved it! We enjoyed our wine tasting tour in Napa/Sonoma and snorkeling, a luau, and lots of relaxation in Hawaii. We highly recommend this honeymoon trip to other couples!

How did you meet each other?
We met when Ellen moved to Denver in 1995 and started 3rd grade at Our Lady of Fatima School, where Matt also attended. We went on to go to high school together and started dating after we had an art class together junior year. We continued to date during our time at CSU and had 11 years as a couple full of fun and adventures leading up to our wedding!
Do you have any advice for future couples? Our advice to future couples as they plan their weddings is to make sure to find some time to enjoy the small moments. Everyone always comments on how quickly your wedding day will fly by, and it is totally true! Take a moment to enjoy all your hard work and soak in the happiness of the day.
Where did you go on your honeymoon? We went to the beautiful country of Belize for our honeymoon. We both love to scuba dive and Hamanasi, our resort near the village of Hopkins, had the perfect mix of diving and other fun excursions. We went "cave tubing" which involved floating and swimming through an amazing river/cave system used by the Mayans. We also went on a beautiful hike through the rainforest that ended with us swimming in a gorgeous pool and waterfall. Even with all these awesome activities, we found plenty of time to relax in our treehouse room and on the beach after all the hustle and bustle leading up to the wedding! Hamanasi was an amazing place to stay with wonderful people, great food, and a beautiful beach. Would highly recommend it to anyone!

How did you two meet each other?
What would be some advice you would give to other couples? For the day itself, the best advice would be to take a few moments for just the two of you to take a step back, look around, and appreciate the day itself and the people that all came together to make it happen. Little things may not go exactly according to plan, so if you anticipate that fact ahead of time you’ll save yourself a lot of stress in the process. The entire day goes by in the blink of an eye so focus on what is most important rather than worrying about whether or not the cake arrived on time. Where did you go on your honeymoon? What activities did you do while there? We went to Lisbon, Portugal and Paris, France and stayed in apartments that we found online in both cities. We recommend doing that instead of spending money on hotel rooms because you can save a lot of money upfront and you get more amenities like a kitchen to prepare small meals, which helps save even more and allowed us to do some amazing extra activities!. Both cities were incredible!! In Lisbon, we really enjoyed hanging on the beach and exploring all the little neighborhoods and the different style of each street. Paris is definitely for honeymooners! The romantic city offered dinner cruises on the Seine, wine of all different varietals, nightly strolls along the river and of course art, music and cheese!
